MISCELLANEOUS WORKS

This catch-all category includes paintings that don't easily fit in any of my other series of work. It also includes samples from my Extension series. The Extension series use a grid as the basic structure to subdivide the picture area, and are frequently mixed media pieces including watercolor on gessoed/textured paper, collage and unique digital paintings output as giclées on paper or canvas.

CATS

There has been at least one cat in our family since I was a college student, and I have adored the unique personalities of each one. Although these paintings start with cats as the subject, their treatment ranges from representational to sem-abstract. Sometimes the cat becomes simply a design element, used for the sake of repetition. Other times the cat takes center stage.
